By car 開車
From Taipei從台北:
Take either Syueshan Tunnel, Beiyi Highway, or Binhai Highway, and take Suhua Highway (No.9 Provincial Highway) through Suao to Hualien, then take No.11 Provincial Highway to the East Coast.
From Kaohsiung從高雄:
(一) Take the Southern Cross-Island Highway. When you arrive at Chihshang, head for Taitung and take No. 11 Provincial Highway to the East Coast.
(二) Take Nanhuei Highway. Head for Taitung and take No. 11 Provincial Highway to the East Coast.　
Points for Attention:
1.There is often fog and falling rocks on the Suhua Highway. Please be careful when driving.
